,As some of you may know, I not only write for my blog, but I am also a contributor Cushy! I joined this community of women toward the end of April. I've been in communication with some of the founders of Cushy since I started, but I had never actually met them in person until two weeks ago. On August 19th I was invited by Cushy founder, Erin Barrio, to meet at Zendo Coffee Shop (a definite must try if you've never tried it) to model their line of Writer's Kerchiefs! These kerchiefs are handmade, super affordable, and so fun to wear! Don't be a square, and buy one at www.cushy.space/shop! Anyway, enough advertising for Cushy, and back to the point of this post. I finally met a few of my fellow Cushies while modeling these beautiful handmade kerchiefs. The few women, and men (that's you Michael) I met at Zendo are truly remarkable people! They all have amazing stories, and are accomplishing amazing things. Not to mention they are extremely kind people. In the few hours I spend at the coffee shop I finally felt like I fit in with a group. I am glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and went to Zendo because if I hadn't, I would have never met them. It was a fun little outing for my birthday. I hope in the upcoming future that I meet more of the Cushy community because I did enjoy my time with the few people I met. If you are interested, check out my first blog post for Cushy. It is titled, "My Journey To Happiness" and coming this month my second piece for Cushy comes out. I love being apart of this community. It is truly a blessing, and a dream come true to work with such talented people I have so much in common with. Writing is my passion, and I will continue to do what I love everyday.
